Eczacibasi Askaynak & Lincoln Electric

Established as an Eczacıbaşı Group company on March 1, 1974, with the production of covered welding electrodes, the company has started the production of gas metal arc welding wires since the early 1980s. In 1992, Kaynak Teknigi Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S., which assumed the Turkey distributorship of welding machines manufactured by "The Lincoln Electric Company", headquartered in Cleveland, USA, became a subsidiary of The Lincoln Electric Co. On May 5, 1998, it turned its relationship with the company into an equal partnership.
Due to the developing market conditions and rapidly increasing sales volume, the factory building, which has been producing in Kartal district of Istanbul since 1974, was moved to the new and modern production facility in Kocaeli in mid-2007. Headquarters and factory building are located in TOSB Automotive Sub-Industry Specialized Organized Industrial Zone in Sekerpinar Municipality of Cayirova district of Kocaeli and was established on a total area of ​​40.000 m², 22.000 m² of which is closed.
